Emily Woodall

Writing and Editing Portfolio

I have experience editing fiction and nonfiction for

self-published authors, independent publishers, and nonprofit organizations.

Here are some examples of my work.

Emily Woodall

Emily Woodall is a writer, an editor, and a self-proclaimed “word nerd.”

Emily moved to Florida in 1986 when she was four years old after her dad received orders to Naval Air Station Jacksonville. She has been a Floridian through and through ever since.

She read The Yearling by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings and Alas, Babylon by Pat Frank during her elementary school years in Middleburg, Florida. As she got older, she fell in love with Hemingway, Hiaasen, Marjory Stoneman Douglas, and Zora Neale Hurston.

She is a “Free Little Library” enthusiast, an animal lover, and a hot tea connoisseur. She lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with her husband, their three children, and a very silly Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Remy.
